On March 15th, as a key member of China Nuclear E&CGroup(CNEC), ChinaNuclearHuaxing Co., Ltd. and French partner Efinor Co., Ltd. registered and established a joint venture named H&E Engineering Limited in the United Kingdom.
The joint venture is invested by CNNC Huaxing and Efinor with a respective 50% equity ratio, focusing on the UK nuclear power business. On October 23, 2017, the joint venture was selected by the owner NNB as the first winning bidder for the HXA plant storage tank project of Hinckley C nuclear power plant. And it will follow other projects at the Hinckley Point C.
Through the establishment of the joint venture, CNNC Huaxing will continue to actively participate in the construction of nuclear power projects in the UK, including workingoutconstruction solutions andproposals for Hualong No. 1 project at Hinckley Point and No. 1 at Bradwell.
