The official spokesperson of ILF Energy, Islam Suleiman, stated that the company is willing to invest 90 Million USD in the construction of a solar energy plant in Baniban, Aswan Province (Egypt).

The project is part of the strategic plan, launched in 2014, by the Egyptian government to increase the use of renewable energy resources.

The plan consists of the construction of 2,3 GW wind and 2 GW solar power plants.  The total investment is planned to reach 7 Billion USD.

The project will be ready for operation in the first quarter of 2018 and will generate 50 MW through the national electricity grid. ILF is trying to get the necessary permissions within three weeks.
