Iran and Europe nuclear cooperation

During the General Conference at IAEA, Mr. Ali Akbar Salehi, Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) announced that Iran is cooperating with Switzerland, Czech Republic, several other countries and institutions of the European Union, including the European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom).

During his visit in a nuclear hospital in Vienna, Mr. Ali Akbar Salehi wishes to develop similar sort of nuclear hospital in Iran within next 4 to 5 years if funding is provided as he was inspired with medical facilities available in the Viennese nuclear hospital.

After his visit, Mr. Ali Akbar Salehi mentioned the recent agreement signed between Switzerland and Iran for boosting nuclear corporation in the field of nuclear safety. And the cooperation of Iran in International Thermonculear Experimental Reactor (ITER).
