Iran shrinks its commitments to the nuclear deal even more

Iran began implementing the third step on Friday to reduce its nuclear deal obligations in response to US violations of the nuclear deal, said Behrouz Kamalundi, spokesman for Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization.

Kamalundi stressed that Iran has lifted any restrictions on research and development, which was stipulated in the nuclear deal. He pointed out that the Iranian nuclear industry can achieve its long-term goals easily, adding that its decision to reduce its nuclear obligations can be reversed if the other parties to fulfill their commitments.

He reported that 20 I-4 centrifuges were operational and that in the next two months 164 I-4 centrifuges would be operational.

Iran also has no plans to restrict the IAEA’s ability to access its nuclear sites, Behrouz said.

That step showed that the European side’s commitment to the deal and the fulfillment of its promises would not compensate the US withdrawal for the Iranians!
