The spokesman of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Behrooz kamalundi, met with the president of the China National Nuclear Corporation.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen their nuclear cooperation with regard to the Khendab heavy water reactor. They also exchanged views on other joint projects.
Earlier, the assistant of the President of China and the head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi met in Vienna, the President of the Russian company “Rosatom”, Aleksei Akhachev. During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues, including bilateral nuclear cooperation and development of nuclear relations under the International Atomic Energy Agency.
