During the Euro-Asia Economic Forum Premier Li Keqiang met Armenia Prime Minister Mr. Hovik Abrahamyan in the Great Hall, to express that China is willing to participate in Armenia nuclear power plant construction projects.
Both countries have 23 years of relations, saying that China is ready to work with Armenia to consolidate political mutual trust, deepen pragmatic cooperation, and actively promote energy cooperation in non-ferrous metal production, building materials and other fields. The Chinese government supports domestic enterprises to actively participate in large-scale infrastructure projects Asia “North-South” highway, nuclear power plant construction, and constantly expand bilateral aviation and tourism cooperation.
Li said that China is willing to strengthen cultural exchanges between Asian parties, to be held next year, “Chinese Culture Day” activities in Asia as an opportunity to enhance mutual understanding between the two peoples and friendship.
Hovik Abrahamyan declared that Armenia welcomes Chinese enterprises to participate in large projects Asian roads, railways, etc., China is willing to actively carry out energy minerals, cement, flat glass production capacity and other cooperation, expand humanities exchanges and push bilateral relations to a new height.

Li Keqiang is the current Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. An economist by training, Li is China’s head of government as well as one of the leading figures behind Chinese economic policy. He is also the second-ranked member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China, the de facto top decision-making body of the country.
Hovik Argami Abrahamyan is an Armenian politician. A former member of the ruling Republican Party, he was the Prime Minister of Armenia from 13 April 2014 to 8 September 2016. Previously he was the President of the National Assembly of Armenia.
