Local companies compete for two tenders in Al Dabaa nuclear project

Local construction companies are competing to win one of the bids put forward by the Russian company Rosatom to participate in the implementation of the project Al-Dabaa nuclear station.

30 million dollars is the cost of the works for each. One of them is for one year and the other 10 years, and the Russian company received offers from companies engaged in the Egyptian market to participate in the project as a local contractor.

The tenders relate to the implementation of service projects, equipment and facilities for the project site in preparation for the start of the implementation of the nuclear power section expected to be in the first quarter of 2020.

The Russian company, through one of the consultants, will study the compatibility of the Egyptian diesel / mazot with their American and Russian counterparts, in addition to matching the building materials that Rosatom will use with the Russian specifications in the nuclear plants (the sand / stones / iron / cement) in the Egyptian market, beside other materials used in the construction of nuclear plants.
