Masdar develops a solar power project in Uzbekistan

UAE’s Masdar, a subsidiary of Mubadala Investment, has announced that it has been awarded a contract to develop Uzbekistan’s first public-private solar power project.

Masdar, one of the world’s largest renewable energy companies, will develop a 100 MW solar power plant under an IFC solar program. The project will be constructed in the Navoi region of Uzbekistan.
