New Head for National Energy Commission of Colombia

Félix Canales, a former engineer from the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile, was appointed at the Head of the Regulatory Subdepartment of the National Energy Commission (CNE).

Mr. Canales was working in the Electrical Department of the CNE, in the analysis of the electricity market, pricing of the various segments of the sector, and processes of demand projection.

The National Energy Commission (CNE) is the technical body in charge of analyzing prices, tariffs, and technical standards that includes the companies of production, generation, transport, and distribution of energy to have a sufficient, safe service and quality, compatible with the economical operation.
