On October 22, 2019, the Party Group of China National Nuclear Corporation announced the decision to adjust the leadership of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. Wang Anmin, Director of Human Resources Department of CNNC, presided over the board meeting.
At the meeting, Xu Yuejin, a deputy director of the CNNC, declared the decision:
Yang Chaodong is appointed as secretary of the Committee of Communist Party of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., while Lu Hongzao no longer served as secretary, and was transferred from CNNC;
Yang Chaodong is recommended as president of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., while Lu Hongzao was removed from this position and transferred outside of CNPE.
