A new Nuclear and Radiation Safety Base in Jiangsu

The Nuclear and Radiation Safety Administration of Jiangsu Province signed recently a five points agreement with Jiangsu Nuclear Power Co., Ltd (JNPC) :

 

  1. To build a demonstration base focusing on the Nuclear and Radiation Safety.
  2. To invest in nuclear education for the public and academic system.
  3. To create an early warning and monitoring system and the integrated emergency response system.
  4. To analyze the public acceptance and to create an information desk.
  5. To set-up of the regular contact mechanism between the stakeholders.

 

In this cooperation, the radiation safety administration will take care of the coordination and best use of the resource allocated to the radiation environment monitoring.

JNPC will improve its communication with the public  It will promote its expertise in the safeguard of the environment and  the nuclear power plant.

 

Both parties will use the social media and other channels to attract talents in the nuclear and radiation safety field.
