On July 3, the Plenary Session of the 25th International Conference on Nuclear Engineering (*ICONE25), which is well known as the “Olympics” in the nuclear section, was held in the International Convention Center of Shanghai. Mr. Wang Binghua, President of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) introduced the latest development of the group in the nuclear field.
This conference is jointly sponsored by the Chinese Nuclear Society, The American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME), the Japanese Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME), and held by Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI). It attracted more than 1000 representatives.
