Poland to purchase 6 US nuclear reactors for $18 billion

The US Department of Energy announced that Poland is about to purchase 6 US nuclear reactors at a cost of not less than 18 billion dollars.

The deal is part of the nuclear cooperation agreement between Poland and the United States, which was signed earlier on October 19th.

The ministry stated that this step would benefit several American companies such as Westinghouse, Southern and the American EPC company “Bechtel”.
