Leaders of the G20 countries, meeting 85% of the world economy and 75 % of the world’s trade, gathered for the 12th time on July 7-8, at the Hamburg Summit.
The priorities of the summit included climate, energy, international tax, cooperation, global health, agriculture and food security, fight against corruption, digitalization, unemployment, fight against terrorism and the economic fortification of women. However, economic and political co-operation with Africa and investment opportunities in infrastructure and energy fields was one of the important topics discussed.
Within the scope of the summit, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan discussed about the Syrie, Qatar, Turkish Stream and Akkuyu nuclear power plant.
The Turkish delegation’s members were:
