Qinshan Propels Liquid Waste Processing Test on Uranium Recovery Production Line

A coordinating meeting regarding liquid waste processing test on uranium recovery production line was held between Qinshan Nuclear Power Company and China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) recently. Progress of the project and solutions for the difficulty were discussed during the meeting.
Since last June when CIAE started this test, the technical staff has carried out many tests, such as laboratory-scale non-radiation test, small-scale system linkage test. At present, technical solutions for liquid waste processing has been preliminary chosen and radioactive test rack was set up.
