Russia and South Africa agreement during the 7th BRICS summit

According to the South African government network news, in the seventh BRICS summit, the Russian state company Rosatom and South Africa Department of Energy signed two memorandums of understanding: South African nuclear industry personnel training and reinforcement of the communication to the public about nuclear energy.

The first memorandum will implement several joint projects in nuclear power energy and training for Nuclear Power Plant personnel such as engineers and construction workers, staff not related to the power business, nuclear facility staff, students and teachers.

The second memorandum aims to increase the communication with the public about nuclear power, to build a good environment for the future development of nuclear power in South Africa.
