SEC and SNERDI consolidate cooperation

On January 16th, Lu Hongzao, Assistant General Manager of SPIC, Chairman of State Nuclear Power, and Executive Director of Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI), visited Lv Yachen, vice president of Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power Group. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as scientific research cooperation, joint venture operation, business issues, and market information.

In order to further implement the relevant requirements for deepening cooperation in the nuclear energy sector under the strategic cooperation framework agreement signed by State Power Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd. on November 28, 2019, Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute and Shanghai Electric Nuclear Power Group agreed to deepen the cooperation scope in nuclear power equipment integration, scientific research and development, overseas market development, nuclear power operation and maintenance, nuclear power environmental protection, nuclear power digital platform, investment, and non-nuclear business.
