Sharjah Electricity human resources development

The Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) has implemented the engineers’ training program, which is being conducted in cooperation with (DNV GL) for three months.

The training will be carried out by the SEWA Academy. Professor Peter van der of Eindhoven University of Technology has presented seven modules covering various sectors of power transformers, cables, network designs, substations, and a number of topics and future projects.

For his part, Dr. Rashid Al Lim, Chairman of SEWA, said that this program, in cooperation with DNV.GL, as well as the cooperation with research centers, universities and major international companies, aim to develop the skills of the human cadres and develop their capabilities.
