China Nuclear Energy Association organized the result appraising meeting on CAP1000 Steam Generator Dryer on December 30th, which is jointly developed by Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Development Institute (SNERDI) and Shanghai Donghai Pressure Vessel Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
The dryer is the last level of separator of the steam generator, with its role is to remove the steam wet of the primary separator. And the performance of it directly affects the efficiency of the plant. During the AP1000 technology transfer, the dryer belongs to the third-party technology. The relying projects of AP1000 have directly purchased the dryer form PEERLESS company in America.
