SOMO exports in Asia

Iraq signed long-term contracts to supply crude oil to large Indian energy companies including Reliance.  The head of State Organization for Marketing of Oil “SOMO” declared that Iraq remains one of the largest suppliers of crude oil to India in 2018.

The company also signed a profit sharing agreement with China’s “Zhenhua” to help marketing Iraqi crude for the Chinese refineries, Al-Yasery added.

He also pointed out that the Iraqi Oil Ministry will soon select four local shipping companies to begin initial transporting of 40,000 barrels/day to Iran.
