SPIC Introduction and Marketing Event at IAEA Annual Meeting

The introduction and marketing event entitled as “China’s Nuclear Energy Industry Development and Technology Innovation” hosted by China Atomic Energy Agency was successfully held at the headquarters of Vienna International Atomic Energy Agency.

The promotion conference comprehensively introduced the progress of China’s nuclear power passive technology

Guo Chengzhan, deputy director of the National Nuclear Safety Administration, delivered a speech at the promotion meeting. Zheng Mingguang, chief engineer of SPIC and chief designer of Guohe No.1 presented a keynote report.

More than 100 experts and representatives from relevant countries and institutions participated in the theme presentation

Representatives from all parties conducted in-depth and enthusiastic exchanges on nuclear energy development planning, advanced reactor safety, economics and equipment supply chain systems, and fuel reprocessing technologies. Experts from France, Britain and Japan spoke highly of China’s nuclear power industry capabilities and technological innovation.
