Supply Chain Improvement

The State Nuclear Uranium Development Company (“SNUD”) is announced to be officially inaugurated in January in Beijing. Mr. Wei Suo, the vice president of the State Power Investment Corp, and Mr. Wang Zhongtang, the general manager of the SNPTC attend the inauguration ceremony which is chaired by Mr. Wang Fengxue, the vice general-manager of SNPTC.

“SNUD” has become the first wholly owned subsidiary of SNPTC set in Beijing since after the re-constructing in May of 2015. It will be committed to the sales transaction, investment and the development of the natural uranium, uranium products, and the nuclear fuel assembly as well as the R&D of the nuclear fuels cycle business. SNPTC is trying to build it into an integrated purchasing and supply platform of the nuclear fuels to better serve all the affiliates in its supply chains.

The establishment of “SNUD” is actually a response to the advocate of the “reform intensification” and the “nuclear supply chain improvement” strategy in China nuclear industry.
