PJSC “Machine Building Plant ZiO-Podolsk” (included in the engineering division of Rosatom – Atomenergomash) received a Certificate for the right to manufacture and supply equipment for Akkuyu NPP from the Turkish Atomic Energy Agency (TAEK).
On August 14-18 this year ZAO-Podolsk was audited by TAEK, whose purpose was to evaluate the quality management system, the technological equipment of the enterprise, the established procedures for procurement, the environmental and industrial safety to determine the enterprise’s readiness to manufacture and supply equipment for Nuclear power plant in Turkey. The audit was an important step in the process of obtaining this Certificate for nuclear energy projects of the Republic of Turkey.
ZiO-Podolsk, apart from super heaters and pre-heaters, is a supplier of reactor pressure vessel, main circulation pump, coolant pump, passive system for heat removal, suppression pools and support plates for main reactor.
