The East Assiut transformers station

On September 20th, Gamal Abdel Rahim, Head of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), signed a contract with a consortium consisting of Eastern Green Power PTE and Sieyuan Electric, to implement the East Asyut transformers station project.

Where the station will be a 66/22 – 11 kV and a capacity of 4 × 40 MVA, of the type isolated by gas (GIS). It is within the scope of the Central Egypt Electricity Region.

Eng. Gamal explained that the total value of the contract is about LE 163.8 million (US $ 9.3 million). The financing would be through the deduction from the credits of the Central Egypt Electricity Region and will be executed over a period of up to 12 months starting from the date of the contract.

Gamal added that the required work volume includes (20) cells of 66 kV voltage, (2) 22 kV distributor, (2) 11 kV distributor. In addition to the tasks of prevention, communications and civil works of the station.
