Third tender for renewable energy projects in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is preparing to announce a third tender for the implementation of renewable energy projects in the kingdom, according to press reports.

Reports indicated that Saudi Arabia intends to announce a tender that is expected to be held during 2020. Procedures and details of the new tender will be announced within the next few weeks. The dates for opening the bids will also be announced.

The tender is part of the Saudi National Renewable Energy Program and Vision 2030, launched by the kingdom under the auspices of Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammad Bin Salman, to diversify the energy sources away from oil.
