According to a statement from Rosatom, Akkuyu Nuclear Co. started the process of preparing documents for the construction of the third unit for the regulator.
“We are currently completing the construction of the base plate of the reactor at unit 1 of the power plant, we are preparing to start the construction of the external walls of the reactor building, in parallel, we are creating concrete foundations for the auxiliary reactor building and reserve control building,” declared Anton Dedusenko, Deputy Chairman of the board of Directors. The second power unit is still in operation. Especially at the end of the autumn in 2018, Unit 2 has been granted a limited permit for the construction.
Underlining that the calendar in the Akkuyu project is very intense, Anton Dedusenko stressed that the construction of each unit is planned to be built with an interval of one year apart.

Anton S. Dedusenko graduated cum laude from the Rostov State University in the specialty «International Lawyer” and under the grant of the Government of Switzerland (SECO) the University of Bern in the specialty “International Law and Economics”. A.S. Dedusenko is a Ph.D. in Law, Executive MBA. He worked within the UN family (Genève, Switzerland) and in Russian production and consulting companies.
He joined Rosatom State Corporation in 2009. A.S. Dedusenko was actively involved in the development and management of Rosatom’s projects in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Jordan, India, and Turkey. In 2012 he moved to Rusatom Energy International Joint-Stock Company (REIN JSC, former Rusatom Overseas JSC) from the position of the First Deputy Head of Legal Department of Atomstroyexport CJSC, Supervisor of the international legal unit. In 2017 A.S. Dedusenko was appointed the First Deputy Chief Executive Officer– New Projects Director of Rusatom Energy International JSC.
