Turkey ranked 7th in the most attractive countries for renewable energy investments in Europe

Turkey ranked the seventh in Europe in the list published by “FDİ”, of the British “Financial Times” magazine, for the most attractive countries for renewable energy investments in Europe for the year 2020.

The study included a list of more than 20 countries regarding the field of renewable energy, including Turkey. According to the study, England ranked first, followed by Spain, then France in the third place.

Turkey ranked seventh with 19 foreign direct investment projects in the field of renewable and clean energy.

The study conducted by “FDİ” is based on dividing the leading countries in the field of clean energy into specific categories, according to the number of foreign investment projects and the proportion of investments in the field of renewable energy, in Europe, during the period from 2016 to 2019.
