UK-Indian partnership

The United Kingdom and India announced in August new joint ventures in the fields of peaceful nuclear energy and health to enhance cooperation in the fields of scientific research and technological innovation.

“The new joint research projects include four research on peaceful nuclear energy and seven others on health,” British Science Minister Sam Gyimah said in a statement after meetings of the British-Indian Science and Innovation Council, held with Indian Minister of Science and Technology Dr. Harsh Vardhan in New Delhi.
