Uranium exploration in India

The Indian Department of Atomic Energy conducted a helicopter survey for uranium research in Begumpet, Hyderabad district. The Himalayan Heli Services Private Limited, a helicopter company, is operating under the Department of Atomic Energy.

It is completing the study in areas around Myorpur, Babni, Bijapur, and Duddhi. The research was extended in the areas of Jharkhand and Bihar.

The Himalayan Heli Service is specialized in low flying operations and conducts multi-parameter Time Domain Electro-Magnetic (TEM) geophysical surveys in India. One of its largest clients is the Atomic Minerals Directorate (AMD).
