On June 5, the Chairman of Women in Nuclear Global (WiN) Mrs. Gabriele Voigt led a delegation to visit the State Nuclear Power Technology Co., Ltd to investigate and survey the relevant preparation work of the 25th WiN. The chief economic manager Ms. Rong Fang received them all.
Ms. Rong introduced the progress of the national major specific project CAP1400 and guided the delegation to visit the site of the grand conference as well.
From June 6 to 8, Mrs. Voigt visited the site of CAP1400 pilot project and AP1000 site in Haiyang, Shandong Province. Besides, she visited the work plant.
Note: Mrs. Voigt, born in 1952, is a biologist and holds a doctorate in genetics, microbiology, and biochemistry. She habilitated from the University of Munich in Ecological Chemistry and is lecturing Radioecology at the Atominstitut of the Technical University in Vienna.
