On January 8th, the year-end summary meeting of the site protection team of the Xiaomoshan Nuclear Power Plant in Huarong County, Hunan Province, south of China, was held. Jiang Nangui, an investigator of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the chief of the Xiaomoshan Nuclear Power Plant Construction Coordination Command, chaired the meeting.
Xiaomoshan Nuclear Power Plant is located on the north slope of Xiaomo Mountain in Dongshan Town, Huarong County, and 1.7 kilometers south of the Yangtze River. It has been listed in the national mid-long-term development plan for 2020-2030 nuclear power program.
The meeting introduced the current development situation of Xiaomoshan project at home and abroad and the latest development.
Jiang Nangui requires that the responsibilities should be clearly defined, inspections should be strengthened, and site protection work should be vigorously publicized; the heads of relevant departments should strengthen coordination to further promote the healthy and sustainable development of the Xiaomoshan Nuclear Power Project.
