The project consists of the construction of Sanmen Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.
This project is the expansion project Sanmen nuclear power project, located in Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant Units 1 and 2 on the eastern side expansion side. The construction period for units 3 and 4 will be 56 months with an interval of 10 months between both units. The site is under the supervision of Taizhou City Government (Zhejiang).
The Committee of Experts of the Ministry of Environmental Protection (NNSA) approved the site safety analysis reports, the environmental impact assessment report and the technical review.
The National Electric Power Planning and Design Institute reviewed the Feasibility study report. In terms of project preparation, the preliminary design and construction drawing design required for the project is finished. The Project enters now in the procurement phase and supply chain.
