China’s CGN signs deals in Czech Republic

During the 8th China-Central and Eastern European Leaders’ Meeting in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on April 12, CGN Environmental Protection Industry Co., Ltd. and Czech Environmental Commerce CZ s.r.o. (referred to as “EC Company”) signed a cooperation agreement for Wastewater Treatment Project. Under the joint witness of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and the leaders of the 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Shi Bing, the standing committee member, and deputy general manager of China General Nuclear Corporation, and Georgi Bidenko, executive director of EC Corporation, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

According to the agreement, two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the design, construction, small integrated sewage treatment plant and the introduction of a number of mature advanced technologies. The first cooperation project has been determined to launch a sewage treatment plant in the high-tech zone of Xiangyang City, Hubei Province. The sewage capacity is 30,000 tons.

In the follow-up, they will also carry out in-depth cooperation in projects such as Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, to jointly create an economical demonstration project for sewage treatment.
