On October 17th, the 2019 China International Nuclear Power Industry and Equipment Exhibition held inauguration in Beijing. At the launching ceremony, the head of the China Machinery Industry Federation handed over the monogram of the exhibition to the member of Standing Committee of Yantai Municipal Party Committee, Mr. Yu Yongxin, and announced that China International Nuclear Power Industry and Equipment Exhibition will be organized in Yantai, Shandong Province since from 2020.
Yu Yongxin said in his speech that in recent years, Yantai city has been accelerating the development of nuclear power industries and has cultivated several high-end nuclear power equipment enterprises reaching international advanced level, forming two provincial-level nuclear power industrial parks in Laishan and Haiyang. Nuclear power industry in this region has already become a powerful motor for the high-quality development of Yantai.
Since 2016, Yantai has actively explored the development model of “Forum + Exhibition + Regional Center” model and held nuclear power industry chain summit forums in three consecutive years, which has attracted great attention in the field of nuclear power. Nuclear power industry in Yantai will see great potential. The China International Nuclear Power Industry and Equipment Exhibition in Yantai will surely give new meaning and new impetus to the development of nuclear power industry in the new era.
