Mr. Huang Jincheng, Secretary of Changjiang, a county in the west of Hainan Province China, met with Chai Jianshe, deputy director of Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and reached a preliminary cooperation intention to build a nuclear-related industry in Changjiang. Changjiang will attract ad introduce nuclear power related industries and build a new energy innovation industrial base.
The cooperation project proposed by the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center is of great significance to the national strategy of developing a nuclear power related industry in Changjiang and serving “Belt and Road” initiative. If the project can be landed in Changjiang, it will greatly enhance its economic and social development.
