It was jointly organized by China National Energy Administration and China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute, participating by Liu Baohua, deputy director of the National Energy Administration, energy ministers of 16 partnership member states, ambassadors to China and more than 300 Chinese and foreign representatives from governments, enterprises and think tanks. Li Xiaoming, assistant general manager of CNNC attended the event and was also invited to participate in the high-end round table dialogue.

At the opening ceremony, Liu Baohua emphasized that energy cooperation is a keynote for co-construction of the “Belt and Road”, and hoped that the guests would have in-depth exchanges and consensus on major issues such as deepening international energy cooperation and promoting global energy reform, and make a positive contribution to advancing the building of a community of shared future for mankind.

In the high-end roundtable dialogue, Li Xiaoming reaffirmed that CNNC has established cooperation in nuclear fields at different stages with nearly 60 countries and continued to promote the long-term development of the international nuclear industry with partners from all over the world. In next move, China National Nuclear Corporation will continue to adhere to the principle of “co-negotiation, co-construction and sharing” and promote mutually beneficial cooperation in the nuclear energy industry.
