China and Italy shape model for “Belt and Road”initiative

On June 10, Chairman of China National Nuclear Corporation Yu Jianfeng met with Mr. Adi, Chairman of Ansaldo Nuclear Limited in Genoa, Italy. Two sides stated that they will continue to cooperate in depth, jointly research and develop new technologies, and jointly develop third-party markets to shape the “One Belt, One Road” nuclear energy cooperation model.

Adi said that he is full of expectations for the joint development of high-tech technology and joint development of the international market. He hopes that the two teams will work closely together to expand cooperation in innovative and flexible ways in the fields of technology, engineering, management, strategic investment, and market development.

During his stay in Italy, Yu Jianfeng also cordially visited the CNNC-Environmental Protection Business Unit Work Team and had a discussion with the work team on deepening cooperation between China and Italy and promoting the development of nuclear environmental protection. Yu Jianfeng emphasized that Environmental Protection Business Unit should further strengthen its sense of innovation and forward-looking future technologies; it must work hard on talent cultivation and talent introduction to ensure the competitive advantage of the talent team.
