I. On July 22nd, Zhang Jianhua, Director of China National Energy Administration (NEA), and Suhail Mohamed Faraj Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Industry of the United Arab Emirates, signed a Cooperative Memorandum on the peaceful use of nuclear energy in Beijing. It has laid a good foundation for the two countries to further carry out collaboration in peaceful use of nuclear energy.
II. On July 24th, 2019, Gu Jun, the general manager of CNNC, received the Atomic Energy Commissioner of Algeria, Abdul-Razzaq Remki, at the headquarters in Beijing. Two sides discussed the construction of the isotope production unit, as well as the nuclear energy planning and development program.
The heads of the Industrial Development and International Cooperation Department of China National Nuclear Corporation attended the meeting.
