CNNC global expansion

On March 23th, the CNEC High Temperature Reactor Holdings Co., Ltd (CNECHTR) and the CNNC China Zhongyuan Engineering Corp. (CZEC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement focused on the international expansion. According to the deal, both entities will rely on Hualong reactor, the High Temperature Gas Cooled reactor, the ACP600 and the small reactor ACP100.

 

*CNECHTR: Nuclear Engineering Clean Energy Co., Ltd. (NECE) is a subsidiary of China Nuclear Engineering Corporation (CNEC), China’s top ten military-industrial groups. As a wholly owned subsidiary of CNEC and the investment and operation platform of CNEC’s nuclear energy industrialization, NECE was incorporated in October 2012.

Its business scope is as follows:

  • utilization of nuclear energy,
  • research and development of nuclear energy technology,
  • application of nuclear technology,
  • energy investment,
  • assets management, etc.

NECE focuses on the promotion of the advanced nuclear energy industrialization represented by the High Temperature Gas-cooled Reactor (HTR) and Integrated Nuclear Heating Reactor (NHR).
