CNNC “digital” investment

China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) inaugurated recently the first Board of Directors of the Nuclear Energy Software and Digital Reactor Engineering Technology Research Center (hereafter referred to as “Center”).

This Center is mainly led by Nuclear Power Institute of China (NPIC), a design institute under CNNC and jointly set up by China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE), China Nuclear Power Engineering Company Ltd (CNPE), Research Institute of Nuclear Power Operation (RINPO), Computer Application Institute of Nuclear Industry etc.

It is aimed to improve the innovation capabilities and R&D efficiency of CNNC; to introduce the R&D results into the nuclear service market; and to build a platform for CNNC’s member companies to exchange technology and experience as well as nuclear talent training.

CNNC will be actively supporting the growth of this Center by extensive exchange activities and events.
