During the Annual Meeting of the 2017 Chinese Entrepreneurs held in Zhuzhou (Hunan Province), CNNC Baoyuan Property Holding Co., Ltd signed a three-party strategic cooperation agreements to jointly build an international Proton Therapy Center* with Zhuzhou Yunlong Demonstration Plot and Hunan Yunfeng Lake Investment and Development Company.
According to the deal, this Proton Therapy Center will be located in the Yunfeng Lake International Tourist Resort in Zhuzhou Yunlong Demonstration Area with the total investment of 3 billion Chinese Yuan (441 Million USD).
These stakeholders set up a work group and a project management to track this venture, including the medical research, proton caring, talent training, technical consultation and the medical technology export etc.
CNNC- “Baoyuan” will undertake the turnkey project from the therapy system access to the Center design & construction， as well as the operational management, the equipment maintenance service and the overseas training of the professionals. While, the other two parties will mainly provide the supports in the land selection, infrastructure and the public facilities.
*The proton therapy is an effective curing method with the characteristics of the high accuracy, high curing rate and low side effects. Currently in China, there are only two Proton Therapy Centers in service.
