E-Shopping for Akkuyu Nuclear in Turkey

Turkey’s first nuclear power plant, Akkuyu NPP, will launch the digital sales support platform called “Technical documentation e-shop.” Rosenergoatom promoted this service, to give access to all licensing and technical documents for the operation of Russian design nuclear power plants. With the system, it is possible for any organization to quickly access and order these documents in an easy-to-use database online using a computer or phone.

Ekaterina Solntseva, Director of Rosatom Digitalization, identified the market demand for a system that provides a quick and easy way to share such documents. The online store allows customers to design their licensing frameworks, aims to increase safety at all stages of the life cycle of the nuclear power plant, and reduces the time and cost of the construction of the nuclear power plants.

The project was based on the Automated Technical Documentation Control Systems (ATDCS) used by Rosenergoatom. It contains all the standards, regulations, and specifications in detail at various stages of the life cycle of a nuclear power plant.

Rosenergoatom Chief Executive and Business Development Director, Nikita Konstantinov, indicated that over 100 documents are now on the platform. These include documents on export products, such as innovative 3+ Generation VVER tip power units with a value of over $ 6.5 million. The Innovation Development Service and the Digitalization Unit of Rosatom, and Rosenergoatom’s International Business and Development Department and the IT Project Management and Integration Department carried this project jointly.
