Moroccan mining is a magnet for Indian investment

During the 16th Ministerial Meeting of the International Energy Forum, “Aziz Al-Rabah”, Moroccan Minister of Energy, Minerals and Sustainable Development, and Indian Minister of Minerals Narendra Singh Tomar signed a memorandum of understanding in the fields of minerals and geology to strengthen the relation between both countries on April 11th.

Both countries will be able to enhance cooperation in the fields of geological infrastructure development, namely geological, geophysical and geochemical maps, geological research, as well as exploration and exploitation of minerals.

Rabah signed  in the past other memorandums of understanding with India, related to energy, especially renewable energy, within the framework of the same international event.

For decades, the Kingdom has attracted dozens of foreign companies engaged in mineral exploration, due to its large stocks in many regions, particularly in the West.
