Nuclep renews Asme III certification

On September 21, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) concluded an audit to renew the N Nuclear Authorization Certificates of Nuclebrás Equipamentos Pesados SA (Nuclep). The evaluation focused on the manufacture of Boiler and Pressure Vessel, according to Section III of the Asme Code.

All the steps described in the Quality Assurance Manual, from the commercial phase to the marking of the equipment, have been verified and continue to fully meet the requirements. This renewal keeps Nuclep as the only company in Brazil able to mark the nuclear equipment produced with the internationally recognized Asme brand.

It is the sixth time that Nuclep has demonstrated its commitment to excellence with the code, but this time with the unprecedented achievement of not recording any inadequacies.
