Russian ambassador to Asuncion, Nikolai Tavdumadze , declared recently that Paraguay is a very important partner for Russia and the two countries actively develop their bilateral relations.
Russia and Paraguay signed several agreements in the field of the use of nuclear energy and are working on realizing some initiatives in this field, as well as in the spheres of medicine and agriculture, “where you can use nuclear technologies in the interest of Paraguay”.
“In the field of nuclear energy, the doors are opened to export technological products from Russia to Paraguay,” he added.
The diplomat also said that Russia is also an important partner for Paraguay, since “it is the largest importer of meat.”
“For example, last year the volume of foreign trade between our two countries was around 640 million dollars,” said Tavdumadze.
