The Bushehr-2 project, according to the Iranian side, is worth about USD 10 billion and is expected to take 10 years to complete. The inauguration ceremony of the Bushehr-2 project was held on 10 September 2016.

After the excavation work which started on September 2017, Rosatom officialised the mechanically stabilized earth work in Bushehr 2 last month(May 3rd), before the first concrete day (FCD) which is planned for the third quarter of 2019.
