Russia increases its financial investment in Egypt

The Russian government declared the documents that have been submitted in the annual report to the Russian parliament specify that Rosatom had subventions increased by 20% in 2016, and for the next 10 years up to more than 130 billion USD.

The government added that financial allocations included the Egyptian nuclear project in Dabaa region and the contract for the construction of the nuclear plant is ready to sign.

Egypt and Russia reached an international governmental agreement to build four nuclear power units with 1200 megawatt capacity per unit, the project will be implemented during the next 12 years.
