Russia still looking to sell Turkey’s Akkuyu

Alexey Likhachev, Chairman of the Russian State Nuclear Energy Corporation Rosatom, announced that several meetings were held regarding the sales of 49% Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant shares.

The meetings were organized with the Turkish public and private sectors.

During the Atomexpo-2019 International Forum in Sochi, Mr. Likhachev emphasized that foreign investors are also in negotiation for the acquisition of the shares.
