Soon… the inauguration of the world’s largest solar power complex

Dr. Mohammed Al Khayat, Chief Executive Officer of the New and Renewable Energy Authority, confirmed that the project of the largest solar power park in Binban area of ​​Aswan governorate is proceeding according to the schedule set by the ministry and investors to establish 32 stations with capacity of 1465 MW.

Al-Khayyat said in a press statement to the Egyptian newspaper “Al-Youm Al-Sabe” that according to the timetable, the station will be completed in September, adding that it is expected to be opened before December.

It is worth mentioning that Binaban solar power station is currently the largest solar power complex in the world with the largest number of power plants, as it has 40 of them!
