On December 14, *CITIC Heavy Industries Co., Ltd (CITIC HIC) and *China Nuclear Power Operations Co., Ltd (NPO) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly develop the specialized robot used in the nuclear power plants.
The vice managers of the two companies Mr. Liu Dahua and Mr. Dai Zhonghua signed on the agreement. According to this agreement, the two sides will conduct the R&D and promote the industrialization of the nuclear-related robot which is widely used to perform such tasks as fire-protection, detecting, warning, rescuing especially in the high-temperature and high radioactive areas; on the other hands, they will join hands to apply the R&D projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the local government and conduct a deep cooperation in the R&D, share of market information, equipment supply of the nuclear used robot.
